Statement of Practice: Dayton attorney Patrick K. Dunphy has been a trial lawyer since his admission to practice law in Ohio in 1982. During his legal career he has tried civil cases to jury in state court in Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Hamilton, Miami, Montgomery, Preble and Warren counties and has represented parties in litigation in Butler, Franklin, Logan, Madison and Shelby counties. He has appeared on behalf of litigants in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. His trial practice has been in the areas of political subdivision, automobile, uninsured motorist, products, civil rights, employment and premises liability law. Mr. Dunphy has tried cases to jury involving claims of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. For more than 17 years he handled cases on behalf of property and casualty insurers and their policyholders.
